ATE Reference

When starting a telnet session, if the Default Local Directory field is defined on the FTP tab of the profile, and there is an ATE.MDF file in that directory, then it will be processed for adding menus at the start of the telnet session. This provides a handy means of adding your own utilities to the ATE menu bar.

The format of ATE.MDF is identical to that of ASHELP.MDF (used for the equivalent purpose in A-Shell/Windows). See the topic Help Menu Links in the A-Shell Setup Guide for details.
