There are a vast number of possible options to configure in a modern editor such as PN2, and they are increased further by the unlimited number of possible extensions. Fortunately you can delay configuring or learning about most of these until you get more familiar with the environment. The APN package has been pre-configured with default options that should allow you to get to work right away. The following sections just provide background notes on the configuration that has been done or that you may want to do in the future.
Note that since all of the configuration settings are stored in files in the APN directory, you can replicate your customized configuration to other machines just zipping the entire directory.
