Search for Extensions

APN can be running or not for this step.

From the Start > A-Shell program group, execute the “APN Extension Finder.” If not available on the start menu, you can execute it manually via Start > Run:

%APN%\pn --findexts

The program runs without any visible output and causes APN to search for available extensions and add them to its %APN%\settings\UserTools.xml and config.xml files. This step is not generally necessary for updates, but it doesn’t hurt anything. You can verify that the extensions are loaded by running APN (it should already be open) and checking Tools > Options > Extensions to verify that you have at least these:
