1. (WINDOWS) A-Shell/Windows now supports release 1.0 of the A-Shell Telnet Server Daemon (ATSD) for Windows NT/2000. Multiple telnet sessions originating from the same PC now count as logical windows rather than physical nodes (up to a maximum of 5 or the node license size per source address, whichever is larger.)

See the notes for 4.6(783) for information on installing and starting ATSD.

A new A-Shell license option has been added for ATSD. If not present, the server run in demo mode, which is the same as licensed mode except that it displays an initial demo mode message on startup, and, it forces any A-Shell telnet sessions to run in A-Shell demo mode. (Thus you can test it out without obtaining a license.)

2. Maximum ISAMPLUS record size increased from 2560 to 4096. Note: You must use ISMUTL.LIT 1.2(117) (or higher) to be able to build a file with a record size larger than 2560.
