Hi,

What does this mean?

"Created by LibXL trial version. Please renew your maintenance for using the latest releases."

I'm getting this on the first row of an XLS file generated from the Export XLS option in the XTREE context menu, and not all data is exported.

Isn't this option supposed to be out from the AXL licensing?

This customer don't have AXL add-on but is up to date about maintenance.

confused I'm confused because I have the feeling to have discussed this before but didn't found anything here, if so, apologize but give me directions

I think the theory was for the AXL license to be included in the APEX license. That's a bit confusing in the case of XTREE, which (as of 6.5.1626) supports the ability to export to XLS/XLSX via the CSV2XL.SBX module, which doesn't have any obvious dependency on APEX.

So I guess the question is whether the license has the APEX option. If so, then there is something wrong with the theory and we should check the versions of CSV2XL and ASHW32.EXE. Otherwise, it may be a matter to discuss with Ty.

Definitely it has APEX, ashw32.exe is the latest one but the problem happened with some previous version.
Do you think the problem can be in the INI ?
I'll check it later to see if I find something different.

Thanks

Sounds like a possible technical issue (aka "bug"). Let me try to reproduce it here...

I am able to reproduce the problem here; will get to the bottom it shortly.

Sorry, my mistake. frown

The problem was that the CSV2XL.SBX 2.1(220) didn't have the latest license to support the 3.8.3 version of the DLL. It still worked fine if your A-Shell license had the AXL bit set, and it worked fine if you had had the older 3.7.2 version of the DLL. The combination of those allowed me to somehow overlook the issue.

Fortunately the solution is simple:

Code
.LOG BAS:
.UPDCUR

Actually, I just realized that PRTXLS.SBX prior to 2.1(214) had the same problem. So if you use that (from APEX), you may want to execute UPDCUR again to get the update I just posted.
