So can you put an updated DIR on the Patches and Release page of the support web site? Or is there a better place for it. In 4.8's case I believe three programs are released in addition to orig. 4.8 zip file: ASHW32.EXE, ISMBLD.LIT, and PWD.LIT, but I don't know for sure. What is a good way to distribute the latest DIR? danka Gary Guilbert

Then we know what programs that need to be added to a release. Here is a section of the release txt file with my added "patches". =================================== A-Shell Development Notes Version 4.8(837.1) =========================== Patches to 4.8(837.1) are: ASHW32.EXE 307-404-521-457 ISMBLD.LIT 503-443-410-355 1.2(120) PWD.LIT 270-262-520-035 1.0(100) ---------------- Keep the above list at the top and add the notes below this list...... 1. Fix a bug introduced in build 837 in which a FIND followed by a FIND'NEXT or ..... snip ...... =================================== just thinking of stuff to keep you busy Gary
