I haven't heard of any such problems, but I'm not sure that many people have tried it either. Here's a test file that I just generated with PDF which anyone can try reading on the their phone:

tstgdi.pdf

The above document works ok on an Android/Samsung Galaxy phone, using QuickPDF (which was apparently pre-installed) as the reader.

Ty reports that he can read it on his iPhone, although I don't know which version he has or what the reader is.

I'm going to go out on a limb here, John, and make a blanket statement that is true as far as I know: we have no reports ever of PDFX-generated PDF files behaving oddly/badly. Not on any of the various computer platforms, not in any of the various browsers, not on any of the myriad devices that people are using these days, etc. We do not have, in other words, any reasons to believe that the PDF files generated by PDFX are any different from those generated by Adobe or Microsoft or Apple or anybody else.
