I'm not sure why we were keeping this a secret, but it appears that although the feature has been around for many years, it was never documented (at least under A-Shell). :rolleyes:
To make matters worse, the test program
TSTNFL.BAS wasn't posted to the SOSLIB [908,43] directory either.
I've just now taken care of the latter problem, so you can grab the test program and hopefully will find it almost self-explanatory. Essentially it's just a matter of setting the
channel parameter to 0, in which case the
text parameter can contain the entire memo text.
VUESCR is built on INMEMO using that mechanism, but it doesn't give you the flexibility to establish an arbitrary viewing window or to play with the other opcodes.
