We were having a problem where we would ATE into a cloud server running ATSD and often when users ended out there ATE screen would just hang there. The session closed but the ATE Screen never went away. It only happened to users in their office. It happened on every PC in their office.
The exit was done by our program chaining to DBHOST.CMD which had only one line. HOST. We have done that everywhere in Ashell & ATE for years.
After talking to Jack I learned about ? tab(-10, AG_ATEDISCONNECT);"1,Goodby"; chr(127); and that has solved those odd disconnect problems. So the problem is resolved.
I wonder why host.exe didn't work but I have learned not to waste much time on exploring why something wasn't working before it was fixed. But I wanted to post this in case anyone ever has a similar problem.
