Curious about the state of the VScode plugin for A-Shell? Is this something MicroSabio has thought about replacing APN with?

I have to confess that I haven't done anything further with it; was kind of waiting to see if there were any developments from Matt. I'll send him an email to see if he's done anything.

Morning folks, I've been remiss and not done an update for a while!

Not a huge amount has changed but a few key things have been ironed out, including compiling. Sadly, it doesn't have a code library to it yet so it won't do live checking of code like javascript in VS Code. But it does list all the problems found directly in the VSCode GUI and allow you to click to go to an error. It is also nice and quick when compiling locally.

I'll write up the installation and configuration process for it so you guys can have a go. It isn't quite a one-click install, but its not far off.

Watch this space...

It's sods law that we've had a busy surge just as I resolve to get this done! I haven't forgotten.

I'll try and get this all documented and shared by the end of the week. I'll also open-source the repo so that you guys can have a play about with it.

Cheers.

Thanks Matt. (But if "busy" has any connection with "business", as in "sales", then feel free to put this on the back burner while you attend to more important matters!)

We are indeed selling *many* new systems! You're welcome ????!

The workload is somewhat ludicrious while also trying to get existing customers transistioned over to our G2 software (the one I was showing off at the conference) but we are getting there.

I've created a new VSCode A-Shell Extension to continue this conversation.
