A-Shell Development History

1243.3

BASORT refinement: don't output "out of memory" message to screen if unable to allocate ideal amount of memory for sort (as long as we are able to allocate a sufficient amount). Message was confusing some users.

1243.2.1

APEX bug fix: GDI print files which ended in a chr(12) not at the start of a line were appending a //directive to the end of that line.

1243.2.2

APEX scale refinement: Ctrl+LeftClick no longer increases the scale to 1000%. (People were accidentally doing this and ending up confused since the document is so big it is nearly invisible at that scale.) Use of Ctrl no longer has an effect on the Left/Right Click (with magnifying glass cursor). The Plus and Minus keys at the top of the keyboard now scale up and down in fine increments; using them with Ctrl makes the increments even finer.

1243.2.3

PCKLST.SBR bug fix: The cursor was being turned into an hourglass and left there when in text mode.

1243.1.1

GUI bug fix: maximizing a dialog created with one of the centering options was failing to re-scale the controls within.

1243.1.2

ASHUPDATE.LIT 1.0(121) now links to the text update notes if the difference between the running version and the available-to-update version is less than 1.0 edit.patch units. In such a case, it is likely that you only want to see the very latest changes, which is much easier to do in this file than in the formatted html document. You can always access the full html development notes from the Help menu.

1243.0.1

Update APEX preview control (SftPrintPreview_IX86_A_20.dll) from version 2.0.3.0 to version 2.0.4.0. No feature or behavior changes expected, except for improved compatibility with Windows 8.

1243.0.2

Update XTREE control from version 6.5 (SftPrintPreview_IX86_A_65.dll) to version 7.0 (... _A_70.dll). No feature or behavior changes expected, except for improved compatibility with Windows 8. Note that the _65.dll is no longer used or needed, and may be discarded.
