Escape Sequences

Because the PC has much more functionality than a "dumb" terminal, ZTERM 2000 has been enhanced to allow the host system to control various functions, such as file transfer, launching files and applications and so on.

These special escape sequences are supported in all terminal emulators. Developers should take care to ensure that these sequences are only sent to ZTERM 2000. An easy method of determining if ZTERM 2000 is "on the other end" is also available.
