Printer: This button allows you to choose the printer ZTERM 2000 uses when the host system tells it to print or when printing the screen.
Prompt: Click this button to force ZTERM 2000 to prompt you for the printer to use each time ZTERM attempts to print.
Emulate 10/17 CPI Dot Matrix: This checkbox enables dot-matrix printer emulation.
LPD Server: These options allow ZTERM 2000 to run a "Line Printer Daemon" service. Using the LPD server, it is possible to print from the host system using a spooler directly to ZTERM 2000' dot-matrix emulator or directly to the printer port.
Print Screen Method: Select between Windows Characters and Plain Text. Plain text allows the use of inexpensive dot matrix printers, however, the resulting print doesn't reflect the true contents of the screen as does using Windows Characters
Invert black & white for Print Screen: This option, if checked, will invert the foreground and background colors used when printing the screen. If this button is unchecked, the screen will be printed in WYSIWYG format, i.e. with a printed background the same as the display.
Scale to black & white: If this option is checked, when printing screenshots, ZTERM will convert all colors in the emulation window to black and white. This will normally result in clearer output on black and white printers, since these printers without this option will attempt to translate color output to greyscale which might result in non-readable output.
Formfeed After Print: This option is used with Plain Text print screen only. If checked, ZTERM 2000 will send a form-feed character after printing the screen. The formfeed is useful for laser printers that require a formfeed before they actually start printing anything.
