ZTERM

Before using serial transfers, the serial transfer utility for AMOS, ZTXFER.LIT, needs to be transferred to the host AMOS computer. Serial transfers are only supported on AMOS host systems. If using a different host system, use a TCP/IP connection to the host so you can use FTP file transfer.

Use the Transfer, Copy from Host to PC or Transfer, Copy from PC to Host menu or click on the appropriate toolbar button. Provided the connection to the host FTP server was established, the transfer dialog will be displayed.

Note that wildcard transfers are not supported via serial transfers.

Note: Serial transfers are not supported on Alpha Micro serial ports controlled by the AM1013 and AM1213 interface drivers. These ports use a Z80 serial controller originally designed for communication with IBM mainframe computers and are unable to correctly handle 8-bit serial transfers (required by ZTERM 2000) nor keep up with in-bound data above 4800 baud.

All other Alpha Micro serial ports work fine.
