Smart Mouse technology allows many host applications to be controlled by using the mouse rather than the keyboard. Smart Mouse works by analyzing menu choices or words displayed on the screen and then translating them into the appropriate keystrokes.
To use Smart Mouse, simply highlight the menu item you want to select by clicking at the start of the menu item, dragging the mouse across the menu item and then releasing the mouse. ZTERM 2000 will then analyze the words selected and make the appropriate keystrokes to the host to select that item. Depending on ZTERM 2000 is configured, you can also double-click on menu selections and Smart Mouse will figure out what to send to the host.
ZTERM 2000 also includes a Back button on the toolbar. Since virtually all host applications have the concept of a "back" or return to previous menu, the Back button combined with Smart Mouse make many host applications as easy to navigate as using a web browser.
